What is Babylon Toolbar?

Babylon Toolbar is a browser extension which seems legitimate. Its official website features various tools such as Babylon Mac, Language Learning, Babylon electronic Dictionary, Babylon 9 and many others which are claimed to be helpful tools while browsing online. Babylon Toolbar is available in a great range of languages and it is said to be used by “millions of private users and organizations in more than 200 countries and territories”.  Google Chrome:

  1. Open the browser and click on the menu button which is on the right-hand side of the browser (three vertical lines).
  2. Select Tools – > Extensions.
  3. Select the toolbar and remove it.

 To change the default search engine on Google Chrome:

Click on the Chrome menu button – > Settings – > Manage search engine (in the Search section). Click on the Babylon Toolbar Search and remove it from the list and then select Google to make it your default search engine.
