Reimage Removal Tips
Reimage is considered to be a potentially unwanted application (PUA), because it got a lot of complains from the users. Even if it is not a very dangerous program, it still is a very suspicious one. In most cases it has to be downloaded from its official page reimageplus.com, but sometimes it is promoted via adware. You should always be wary of any program that feels the need to be distributed through adware. For this and other reasons, which we will explain to you in the following article, we recommend to remove Reimage.
What does Reimage do in my computer?
First of all, it is worth mentioning that the users get annoyed with constant suggestions to buy the full Reimage package pretty quickly. These pop-ups are very irritating. Furthermore, there is no guarantee that your system will be safe once you buy it. This is not a reputable program and some well known security applications even detect it as a type of malware.
Of course, the fact that it travels with AVG Safeguard Toolbar makes it look very reliable. After all, AVG is highly respected anti-virus system developer and undeniably beneficial for the user. However, that does not mean that Reimage is as reliable. Actually, sometimes it is associated with browser hijackers. You should not trust this application and get rid of Reimage right away.
It can be installed in Windows XP, 7, Vista and Windows 8. Reimage boasts that it can revive your computer and keep it safe from future threats. Once you install it, it starts an immediate scan which almost always finds potential threats. That is when it offers you to help with these threats. You only need to buy a full version of the program which costs approximately 50 euros (depending on your location). Until then the application is inactive. If you decide to buy it, we must warn you that you will also install AVG toolbar and AVG Secure Search. You can, of course, deselect these boxes during installation, but you will have to be very attentive. If you miss these boxes, then these additional applications will enter your computer and will start changes. The users rarely follow installation process, so the odds are that you will end up with not only an application of questionable value, but also a few additional programs that you have not asked for. If you already downloaded it, we advise you to uninstall Reimage and all related programs.
