I could not find the file anywhere to uninstall it, so after two days of downloading malware removal programs, not one of them could get rid of this hijacker, I was frustrated! There was no way I was going to reset my firefox browser because I had it set up the way I liked it and it took me a while to get it that way! I finally figured out a simple way to get my search engine back:
Open firefox and type about:config in the address bar of browser, enter.
Find browser.startup.homepage, right-click and press “reset”.
(This will reset your homepage back to about:home.) Worked for me, Yay!
