How does srptm.exe work?

As it has already been stated, srptm.exe is often associated with Snap.do from ReSoft LTD or other similar programs. Snap.do is promoted as a useful browser plugin that will improve your browsing experience when in reality it is a browser hijacker. One of the main reasons for stating that is its distribution method. Although Snap.do can be downloaded from its official website, in most cases it gets access to your PC via free software that it is bundled with. You should be especially attentive when downloading freeware as it is very likely to contain unwanted applications. We recommend choosing Custom Installation whenever it is possible. That way you will be able to deselect the programs you do not need.

Once Snap.do gets on your computer you will start noticing that your Internet connection has slowed down. Unfortunately, that will be the least of your problems. Snap.do will change your homepage without your permission and start redirecting you to corrupted sites that you had no intention of visiting. Furthermore, Snap.do is capable of accessing Internet and downloading other unwanted programs to your PC without your agreement. It will also track your Internet activity and record such personal information as your IP address, browsing history, bookmarks, etc. This is done in order to show you various adverts, pop-ups and sponsored links. If you want your computer to be safe and function properly, you should delete Snap.do as soon as possible.

How to remove srptm.exe?

Search for LPTInstaller which is either LPT or ReSoft malware. Snap.do does not show as a program to be uninstalled
